Grace brings over 12 years of experience providing strategic counsel, public relations and marketing communications to high profile talent, multinational companies, start ups, Fortune 500 companies, government and nonprofit organizations. Grace founded Niwa Public Relations with Anheuser-Busch, Inc as her first client. As the national PR agency for Anheuser-Busch’s Asian American initiatives, she helped plan high end branded marketing platforms based on lifestyle, culture, film & entertainment, sports and music for Michelob, Michelob ULTRA, Michelob Light, Bud Light, Budweiser, Anheuser World Select, Bud Select and many other brands. Niwa PR’s work has resulted in features and writes up in top international, mainstream and ethnic press.
Grace has served on several boards in the Asian Pacific American community. She is currently on the Advisory Council for Network of Korean American Leaders. She is the former Chair for Asian Sisters Participating in Reaching Excellence (ASPIRE) in Boston, Advisory Council member for the Asian Pacific American Institute for Congressional Studies, Advisory Council of the Women’s Committee at the Harvard Club and a former board member of the Asian American Arts Alliance and the New York Asian Women’s Center.
A former concert pianist, Grace received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Toronto and a Master of Music degree from The Juilliard School in piano performance. She gave her New York debut at Carnegie Hall in 1996 and has performed in solo, orchestra and chamber music performances in Toronto, Ottawa, Montreal, Seoul, Pusan and New York City.
